Versioning
QEVORK Gear OS follows Semantic Versioning — MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH.
- MAJOR — changes that break
.qvkproject files or the license API. - MINOR — new capabilities added within a subscription tier.
- PATCH — corrections with no effect on any computed result.
Reading the notes
An entry marked ⚠ Results-affecting can change a computed value — a coefficient, a method, or the edition of a referenced standard. Every other entry concerns the interface, documentation, packaging, or performance only.
Normative framework
The calculation engine implements the ISO 6336 series as its primary rating framework, with AGMA 2101-D04 and DIN 3990 available for comparison, and ISO 1328-1 accuracy grades for tolerancing. Coefficients from different standards are never combined within a single computation.
